the last quote was a really good and strong phrase as it effects the population quite a lot.

many have experienced, it's good to protect your child but also in my opinion it's good to push your child to find hardships and solve problems on their own. when they grow older they will realize how independent and confident they are and well accepted to rejection and failure.

it sounds cliché but failure is important to know that it won't always be this way and the more you try with different ways and things you will reach the end eventually.
