Game Idea Research

Three possible game mechanics. You can change your mind later, of course, but it’s good to start with three-game mechanic ideas that you know would work well.

Game mechanics assist in the creation of gameplay by giving a set of techniques or rules for the player to engage with.

Although there are numerous theories about game mechanics, they may be found in almost every video game.

The primary responsibility of a game designer is to create game mechanisms that are interesting enough to either entertain or provide an impact and worthwhile experience to the user.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board, or ESRB, is a group of people who decide what a game's rating should be. They're the ones who look at gameplay, character actions, blood, language, and a slew of other factors to determine whether or not a game should be rated.

Early Childhood Education (ECE)

E stands for everyone.

E10+ for Everyone E10+ for Everyone E10+ for Everyone E10+ for Everyone E

T stands for teen.

M stands for mature.

AO is just for adults.

RP stands for Rating Pending and refers to a game that has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

I will be picking

Platformers

These games include the player jumping from platform to platform while avoiding obstacles. The Mario games are the best illustration of the best gaming mechanics platforms have to offer. Mario must navigate through colorful stages while avoiding foes and jumping over various obstacles.

Simulation

Simulation games are designed to simulate realistic actions such as flying a plane, racing a car, or even participating in sports. These games depend heavily on realism and try to completely immerse the user in the game they're playing. Microsoft Flight Simulator, Gran Turismo, and Fight Night are just a few examples.

Difficulty

The option for the player to pick how easy or difficult a game will be.

The game is now over.

A game over occurs when a player runs out of lives, time, or otherwise fails to meet the winning requirements. This effectively halts gameplay and forces the user to resume from a previous save point or checkpoint.
